Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Architect for GPUs and SoCs to lead modeling, analysis and validation efforts across architecture teams. You will work with world-class engineers to design, implement and validate models, and to develop tests and tooling that ensure high performance and efficiency.

You will mentor junior engineers, explore new modelling techniques, and contribute to AI-driven tooling that enhances productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 8+ years of relevant work experience or MS with 5+ years or PhD with 2+ years.
• Strong programming ability in C/C++ with build systems (CMake, make) and toolchains (GCC, MSVC).
• Background in Computer Architecture with modelling experience (SystemC & TLM preferred).
• Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, Python, Perl.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in a distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Modeling and analysis of graphics and/or SOC algorithms and features.
• Collaborate across modelling teams to document, design, develop tools to analyze, simulate, validate and verify models.
• Familiarize with models used at NVIDIA and assist with feature implementation as needed.
• Develop tests, test plans, and testing infrastructure for new architectures/features.
• Code coverage analysis and reporting.
• Mentor younger engineers and promote good coding practices.
• Learn newer modelling techniques and frameworks and drive changes with manager.
• Help develop AI-based tools to increase efficiency.
