Job summary

NVIDIA's Architecture Modelling group seeks a Senior Architect for GPUs and SoCs to join a world-class team designing, modeling, and validating chip architectures and features that push performance and efficiency forward.

You will work across modeling teams, develop tests and infrastructure, and mentor engineers while contributing to AI-based tooling to improve efficiency. Base salaries range with Level 4 and Level 5 bands, plus equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 8+ years of relevant work experience or MS with 5+ years of experience or PhD with 2+ years of experience.
• Strong programming ability: C++, C and familiarity with build systems (CMake, make) and libraries (STL, BOOST).
• Computer Architecture background with experience in modeling with SystemC & TLM preferred.
• Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, Python, Perl.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in a distributed team environment.

Responsibilities

• Modeling and analysis of graphics and/or SOC algorithms and features.
• Develop tools to analyze, simulate, validate, and verify models in a matrixed environment.
• Familiarize with NVIDIA models and help with feature implementation as required.
• Develop tests, test plans, and testing infrastructure for new architectures/features.
• Code coverage analysis and reporting.
• Mentor younger engineers and promote good coding practices.
• Learn newer modelling techniques and frameworks and drive change with management.
• Help develop AI-based tools to increase efficiency.
