Job summary

The Landings Golf and Athletic Club on Skidaway Island is a private luxury residential club offering resort-class amenities and a premier member experience. We seek a Lead Assistant Golf Professional to oversee daily golf operations, staff training, scheduling, and to uphold outstanding service for our members.

Responsibilities include managing tournaments, coaching staff, maintaining facilities, and assisting with shop operations and budgets.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required; PGA Apprentice or Member encouraged but not required.
Experience in Golf Operations & Tournament/Group Golf Operations.
Familiarity with Golf Event Management programs such as Golf Genius System.
Knowledge of USGA Rules of Golf & GHIN Handicap system preferred.
Advanced computer skills: Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily golf operations including tournaments, shops, and courses.
Train and supervise staff; schedule, coach, and develop team members.
Manage golf staff operations including staffing, budgets, and records.
Maintain golf cart fleet and practice facilities; ensure positive member experience.
Assist with merchandising and shop organization; support event operations.
