Job summary

Twice in Peachtree City, GA is seeking a Head Golf Professional to promote the game, deliver exceptional service, and drive revenue through programming and high-quality instruction.

The role requires PGA/LPGA certification, strong leadership, and a passion for member engagement. You will oversee pro shop operations, develop clinics, and lead staff to deliver outstanding experiences for members and guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional golf operations and customer service experience.
• PGA or LPGA Certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong leadership and commitment to ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient and friendly customer service across all areas of the pro shop.
• Provide high-quality golf instruction to members and guests.
• Develop and promote golf clinics, private lessons, and programs for adults, juniors, and seniors.
• Promote the game of golf and the club through professionalism, service, and engagement.
• Build relationships with members through committees, clinics, lessons, and playing rounds.
• Create and manage an annual golf calendar of activities and events.
• Establish and achieve sales and instruction goals in compliance with company policies.
• Develop and oversee golf revenue strategies, marketing initiatives, and net revenue plans.
• Supervise outside golf operations including marshals, starters, and shop attendants.
• Lead golf shop operations by training, motivating, and conducting staff meetings.
• Manage golf operations staff including recruiting, hiring, performance evaluations, and development.
• Build a service excellence team focused on value, member satisfaction, and retention.
• Plan, promote, and execute tournaments and special golf events in coordination with other departments.
• Oversee event promotion, scheduling, execution, and post-event wrap-up.
• Ensure staff are trained and consistently follow club guidelines and procedures.
