Job summary

The St. Joe Company's Sharks Tooth and The Third in Panama City Beach, FL invites a Lead Assistant Golf Professional to support the Senior Head Golf Professional in daily operations, delivering world-class hospitality and member experiences.

This role leads staff, manages tournaments, merchandising, and instruction, and serves as manager on duty in the Head Golf Professional's absence, with a focus on service excellence and operational integrity.

Qualifications

• Class A PGA Professional preferred or actively pursuing PGA Membership.
• College degree in Professional Golf Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in private club golf operations.
• Strong knowledge of Golf Genius, GHIN, POS, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day golf operations at Shark's Tooth and The Third.
• Ensure exceptional member and guest service with attention to detail.
• Manage tee sheets, pace of play, and guest experience.
• Coordinate with maintenance and outside operations for seamless days.
• Lead, mentor, and develop staff; handle hiring and scheduling.
• Support budgeting, reporting, and handicap administration.
