Job summary

OGM is seeking a Senior Golf Course Superintendent to oversee agronomic management and daily maintenance for Ottawa Park, Detwiler Park, and Collins Park under Toledo City Golf. This role reports to management and collaborates with the Golf Shop staff to deliver an exceptional golfing experience.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in management, a turf/horticulture background, and the ability to obtain an Ohio pesticide license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years related work, management and supervision experience.
• Ability to obtain an Ohio pesticide license.
• Interest in leading maintenance and agronomic programs for multiple courses.

Responsibilities

• Oversees turf and playing conditions, plants, trees and landscapes.
• Directs maintenance department operations and personnel.
• Recruits, supervises and evaluates maintenance staff; conducts safety meetings.
• Develops annual operating budgets and capital plans.
• Coordinates with General Manager and Golf Shop staff to ensure excellent golfer experience.
