Job summary

Judge Group, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) Engineer in Chandler, AZ to lead development and optimization of aerospace GNC systems. You will mentor junior engineers and drive mission-critical analyses, flight software, and simulation toolchains.

The role requires strong expertise in GNC, modeling and trajectory analysis, with collaboration across systems, software, and verification teams. On-site work in Chandler, AZ is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with 8 years of experience, or Master’s with 6 years, or PhD with 4 years.
• Experience in guidance, navigation, and/or control system design, analysis, or algorithm development for aerospace, missiles, or autonomous systems.
• Experience leading or contributing to modeling, simulation, integration, testing, verification, or system analysis activities.
• Proficiency in C, Python, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar engineering and analytical software tools.
• Experience developing software in a Linux environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, implementation, verification, and testing of GNC algorithms and software solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance 6-DOF simulations for flight algorithm design, validation, and performance analysis.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system analysis to evaluate GNC performance.
• Define performance metrics and conduct trajectory analysis and optimization studies.
• Develop and integrate flight software and simulation toolchains for development and testing.
• Optimize software and simulation environments for robustness, maintainability, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems, software, integration, test, and verification.
