Dhaka Technologies Limited Company (DTLC) is hiring a Lead, Global Trade Compliance - Licensing for a client in the aerospace and defense sector. The role reviews and submits ITAR and EAR license applications and serves as Empowered Official, with a 9/80 schedule and about 30% domestic travel.

Locations include Carlsbad, CA and other client sites. The successful candidate will develop guidance, procedures, and training materials to support international licensing and regulatory compliance across

Qualifications

• 7 years of related experience in trade compliance.
• 5 years with ITAR exemptions and EAR exceptions.
• Experience drafting and submitting ITAR and EAR license applications.
• Prior Empowered Official or US Government regulator experience.
• Experience with OCR EASE.
• Ability to travel domestically about 30% of the time.
• Eligibility to obtain a US Secret security clearance.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsabilités

• Review and submit ITAR and EAR license applications for the company's import and export requirements.
• Develop guidance, procedures, processes and templates that support international license requirements.
• Develop and take part in trade-related training events such as webinars, summits and conferences.
• Act as an Empowered Official in accordance with the ITAR.
• Support enterprise-wide trade requirements, including internal monitoring, compliance investigations and trade-related outreach.
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned to support team objectives.
