Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience in security operations, incident response, or related cybersecurity.
• 4+ years of people management experience, including coordinating a global team.
• Experience developing and interpreting operational metrics (KPIs/SLAs) to measure performance.
• Proven ability to lead operational improvement projects delivering measurable results.
• Advanced knowledge of network and endpoint security, attacker techniques, and SIEM/SOAR tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the floor with frontline security operations—analysts, shift leads, and incident handlers.
• Own and define the SOC operational metrics program (KPIs/SLAs) and report outcomes.
• Turn data into action to drive resource allocation, workflow, and threat mitigation improvements.
• Coach, mentor, and develop analysts and incident handlers, building clear career paths.
• Establish operating rhythms (shift turnover, quality reviews, performance reporting).
• Identify recurring pain points and champion tool optimization and automation (SIEM/SOAR).
• Provide global senior management support across US, Ireland, and India operations.
