Job summary

Allstate is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Security Operations Center (SOC) across 24x7x365 detection and response. You will work during US business hours, partnering with frontline analysts, shift leads, and incident handlers to improve day-to-day performance and ensure operational excellence.

You will own the metrics program, translate data into actionable decisions, coach talent, drive process improvements (SIEM/SOAR), and coordinate with global teams in the US, Ireland, and India.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in security operations, incident response, or related cybersecurity.
• Proven leadership in SOC or security operations roles.
• Experience developing and interpreting KPIs and SLAs.
• Track record delivering operational improvement projects.
• Advanced knowledge of network and endpoint security.
• Experience with SIEM/SOAR detection and response tooling.
• Ability to mentor analysts and build career paths.
• Fortune 100 enterprise background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the floor, partnering with frontline security operations to measure and improve US SOC performance across all shifts.
• Own the SOC’s metrics program to define, track, and interpret KPIs, SLAs, and outcomes.
• Turn data into action by driving resource allocation, workflow improvements, and threat mitigation.
• Uplevel talent by coaching, mentoring, and building clear career paths for analysts and incident handlers.
• Drive operational excellence by establishing rhythms, turnover, quality reviews, and performance reporting.
• Identify recurring pain points and champion process improvements, tooling optimization, and automation (SIEM/SOAR).
• Support the global mission with senior management oversight across US, Ireland, and India operations.
• Translate performance and improvement outcomes into clear dashboards and reports for teams and leadership.
