Job summary

The Tepa Companies are seeking a GIS Project Manager to support the Technology Business Unit and manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.

This role establishes and manages staff for each phase of the project(s) and is responsible for identifying and resolving project performance and personnel problems, complying with all Tepa and client project management policies and procedures, managing project budgets, deadlines and deliverables, and executing projects per

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in geospatial roles.
• 1+ years as a technical Project Manager in technology consulting.
• Experience managing GIS data capture/creation/conversion and related workflows.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, TWIC, or similar (U.S. citizenship/background check).
• Strong communication with varied technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of project financials and client service.
• Experience managing multiple projects across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage multiple GIS projects and teams.
• Coordinate subcontractor pricing, specifications, and schedules.
• Lead meetings and coordinate with clients and staff across locations.
• Track monthly financials and provide status reports.
• Contribute to proposals, cost estimates, and client relationships.
• Ensure timely submission of invoices and financial adherence.
• Travel to client sites 1–2 times per month as needed.
• Uphold project scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
