Job summary

The Tepa Companies are seeking a Project Manager to manage multiple NEPA/cultural and natural resources projects for DoD and other federal clients. You will oversee client relationships, schedules, budgets, quality, and profitability through project completion.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7+ years of environmental project management experience, with strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, policy, environmental engineering, biology, archaeology or a related field.
  • 7+ years of environmental project management experience.
  • 3+ years of environmental assistant project management experience.
  • PMP or other project management certifications preferred.
  • Experience managing projects over $500K in value.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manages multiple DoD or Federal government client projects and schedules.
  • Provides daily direct project support to DoD and Federal clients.
  • Oversees budgets, forecasts, and profitability from proposal through closeout.
  • Develops work plans and manages project staffing.
  • Tracks project progress and reports to leadership.
  • Manages project team, consultants, subcontractors and vendors.
  • Plans, schedules and ensures deadlines are met; produces client reports.
  • Supports proposal development and writes technical approaches as required.
