Job summary

LyondellBasell in Houston seeks an experienced Enterprise GIS Program Administrator to lead ArcGIS Enterprise platform, UPDM geodatabase, and integration with critical systems. You will own the GIS environment, ensure stability, data integrity, and in‑house stewardship across Engineering, Integrity, Operations, HSE, and Projects.

The role requires 5–10+ years administering enterprise ArcGIS, strong Python, SQL, and API skills, and knowledge of PHMSA rules.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geomatics, Geography, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
5–10+ years administering enterprise‑scale ArcGIS environments.
Deep expertise with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, SQL Server, and SDE.
Hands‑on experience with UPDM, pipeline/terminal GIS, or regulated asset environments.
Strong proficiency in Python (ArcPy), ModelBuilder, SQL, REST APIs, and ETL tools.
Demonstrated experience with versioning, authoritative editing, QA/QC, reconcile/post, and schema management.
Strong understanding of PHMSA Part 192/195 and IMP workflows.
Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Platform Ownership & Administration: Administer ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, Portal, Server, Data Store, ArcGIS Pro, and mobile apps.
Geodatabase Stewardship (UPDM‑Aligned): Authoritative editing, versioning, and lineage tracking; QA/QC; audit‑ready documentation.
Data Integration & Operational Enablement: Build ETL pipelines and API integrations; support key workflows; ensure GIS outputs meet requirements.
Application Delivery & User Support: Publish and maintain services, maps, dashboards, and apps; provide training across departments.
Governance, Security & Continuous Improvement: Establish GIS governance, data standards, and publishing workflows; monitor performance and data quality.
