Walker Advertising seeks a Senior GEO/SEO Content Strategist to lead content development for an AI-forward organic ecosystem, including English and Spanish assets for blogs, pages, white papers, video scripts, and press releases. The role emphasizes extractability, citation-friendliness, and high-quality writing across formats.

You will own the GEO content strategy, ensure schema markup and entity clarity, and optimize for AI Overviews as well as traditional search.

Qualifications

5–6+ years in SEO/content strategy, with GEO/AI‑search optimization experience.
Knowledge of how LLMs retrieve and cite content, and of AI Overview mechanics.
Proven writing for web copy, ads, landing pages, white papers, video scripts, and press releases.

Responsibilities

Own GEO content strategy and structure for AI Overviews and citations.
Write and oversee production of bilingual content across formats (blogs, white papers, web pages, video scripts).
Adapt content for video SEO and AI transcript extraction.
Create paid media copy derived from core content assets.
Optimize content for discoverability across text, video, and images, including alt text and transcripts.
Translate keyword research and AI behavior into clear, citeable content for LLMs.
Perform transcreation for English and Spanish audiences with cultural nuance.
Monitor GEO/AI-citation performance metrics distinct from traditional SEO KPIs.
Stay updated on evolving AI retrieval mechanics and algorithm changes.
