Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Lead Genius to join our Austin store. You will support the Store Leadership team, energize the Genius Bar, and ensure same-day help and timely repairs while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You lead by example, mentor teammates, own repair processes, and help set store goals. You’ll open and close procedures, manage resources, and foster an inclusive environment where customers and team members feel valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or sales.
• Ability to mentor or lead others.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and software in a customer service setting.
• Frequently handle, lift, and move merchandise safely.

Responsibilities

• Support customers with Apple hardware/software concerns, explaining issues clearly and setting expectations.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and resolve service concerns for Apple hardware and software.
• Lead Genius Bar team by delivering training and mentoring teammates.
• Collaborate with area manager to provide feedback and improvements.
• Perform opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and store operations as needed.
• Foster an inclusive environment aligned with Apple values.
