Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an AI Lead Software Engineer in the Corporate Technology group in Jersey City. You will lead architecture and delivery of secure, scalable AI-powered platforms, partnering with product, business, and engineering teams to meet strategic objectives.

You will mentor engineers, drive CI/CD automation, and shape patterns for AI-assisted development, while ensuring secure, compliant practices across the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• 5+ years in designing and delivering scalable, secure distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot with SQL and React knowledge.
• Experience with microservices, event-driven design, and API-first approaches.
• Experience on AWS with Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• IaC practices for release speed and safety.
• API design (REST/GraphQL) with security and performance focus.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools with AI output validation.

• Build secure, production-grade services with quality through code reviews and testing.
