Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Lead Solution Architect focused on GenAI to support the EMEA Emerging DNB unit. This highly technical, customer-facing role will shape architectures, run production-grade GenAI initiatives, and influence customer roadmaps across Europe.

Based in the United Kingdom with travel across Europe, you will engage with account teams, build PoCs using Databricks tools, and mentor a sizable field engineering organization to raise GenAI capability region-wide.

Qualifications

• Expertise in GenAI patterns (RAG, agents, tool use) and model customization.
• Proficiency in Python and ML ecosystem; production-grade reference implementations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as deep technical authority on Generative AI for EMEA Emerging DNB unit.
• Scope, design, and de-risk GenAI use cases across strategic accounts.
• Lead fine-tuning and model customization engagements on open LLMs.
• Mentor and enable the EMEA field engineering team; represent Databricks publicly.
