Job summary

PNC is seeking a Software Engineer Lead to join the Enterprise Technology group. Based in Dallas, TX or Pittsburgh, PA, you will lead the design and development of NLP modules, conversational AI, and GenAI-powered automation, using Python and Java to support core AI product initiatives.

You will mentor engineers, oversee AI service integration into enterprise platforms, and align solutions with long-term product strategy.

Qualifications

• University degree and 3+ years of relevant/ direct industry experience.
• Certifications are often desired; a comparable combination may be considered.
• Experience with modern software development practices and lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
• Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs; prepares technical documentation.
• Facilitates complex problem resolution.
• Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues; reviews coding, testing, and documentation.
• Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives.
