Job summary

PNC is seeking an experienced Technology Engineer Senior to join our C&IB organization in Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX. You will architect and implement complex microservices and enterprise APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and modern cloud-native patterns.

You will mentor teams, drive code reviews, and contribute to architecture governance while embracing AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery and improve quality within enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of industry experience.
• Strong Java, API design, and cloud-native microservices experience.
• Experience with Generative AI tools in the software development lifecycle and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of complex enterprise applications and APIs.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and microservices.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices.
