Job summary

HERE Technologies is seeking an experienced AI architect to own the model strategy for a major technical pillar in our advanced visual AI systems. You will turn promising pre-trained models into reliable production capabilities for mapping, perception and simulation workflows.

You will set the technical direction for generative and multimodal vision systems, build end-to-end training and deployment workflows, and mentor teams to raise the bar on experimentation and technical decision-making.

Qualifications

• Deep modeling expertise across generative video, world models and multimodal systems.
• Strong CV foundations in scene understanding and temporal data.
• Advanced Python and PyTorch skills with modern training/evaluation workflows.
• Track record of adapting large pre-trained models to product needs.
• Experience defining rigorous benchmarks, metrics and production-ready criteria.
• Ability to own an ambiguous technical domain and align research, engineering and product partners.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical direction for generative and multimodal vision systems.
• Build end-to-end workflows for training, fine-tuning, benchmarking and deploying models.
• Improve realism, controllability, temporal consistency, robustness and production readiness.
• Design ablation studies, model-selection frameworks and adaptation strategies.
• Partner with evaluation, simulation and platform engineers to establish metrics and release gates.
• Shape model packaging and production performance tradeoffs.
• Mentor scientists and engineers to raise the bar on architecture and decision-making.
