Job summary

HERE Technologies is seeking a specialized professional to lead the development of world foundation models and generative scenario synthesis. This role combines deep learning expertise with hands-on AV simulation and requires the ability to train and adapt generative models for driving scenarios.

The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience in AV simulation, a strong foundation in generative models, and the engineering skills to bring ML models from research to production. Remote work options are available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience training deep learning models end-to-end.
• Expertise in generative video and world models.
• 5+ years of experience in AV simulation or robotics simulation.
• Hands-on experience with major simulation platforms.
• Understanding of AV testing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical direction for map-grounded world foundation models.
• Train and adapt generative models for driving scenario generation.
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives demonstrating scenario generation.
• Collaborate with ML research teams and perception teams.
• Define measurable success criteria for synthetic data quality.
