Job summary

Adobe is seeking a highly experienced Principal Engineer for the GenStudio Engineering team in the United States. You will lead architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and shape the technical direction of GenStudio, focusing on scalable AI solutions and grounded content generation.

You will drive NLP, CV, and generative AI initiatives, architect end-to-end AI systems, and collaborate with data, research, and product teams to productionize models.

Qualifications

• 14+ years in AI/ML with leadership across divisions.
• PhD, MS, or related field in CS or equivalent experience.
• Deep expertise in NLP, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Generative AI.

Responsibilities

• Shape the technical vision and roadmap for GenAI initiatives.
• Architect multimodal systems for text, image, video content generation.
• Lead learning-to-rank, retrieval, and reinforcement learning research.
• Design end-to-end AI systems using LLMs, VLMs, and multi-agent frameworks.
• Evaluate algorithmic trade-offs considering data, latency, and cost.
• Develop enterprise-grade evaluation and validation workflows for AI outputs.
