Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 3 years construction experience with gate automation systems.
  • Low voltage experience and knowledge of electrical relays.
  • Willingness to travel overnight and on weekends.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Ability to read and understand verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to work outdoors year‑round in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Leads team of installation technicians in installation, servicing, and maintenance of gates and automated gate systems.
  • Completes scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance for gate systems.
  • Troubleshoots gate components and control systems; escalates unresolved issues to project manager.
  • Installs new equipment and components, including electric operators and wiring.
  • Maintains documentation of maintenance, parts, and time in ERP system.
  • Participates in safety compliance and ensures worksite safety during installations.
