Job summary

Guardian Access Solutions is seeking a Gate Installation Technician to support the Gate Division with project installations, servicing, maintenance, and repair of automated gate systems, including swing and slide gates and barrier arms. This role requires performing inspections, troubleshooting, and installations at client sites with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

The position involves field work, outdoor conditions, and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow instructions accurately.
• Willingness to travel overnight and on weekends for projects.
• Good communication with clients and team members.
• Physically capable of outdoor work in various weather conditions for 8+ hours/day.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance on gate systems.
• Troubleshoot issues with motors, sensors, and control systems.
• Install new equipment including operators and related components.
• Maintain safe, efficient operation and complete paperwork in ERP system.
• Provide excellent customer service and clear communication to clients.
