Job summary

Zwift is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for the Game Experience team to directly manage a senior group of engineers focused on Zwift's core game loop—from new gamified experiences and competitive racing systems to real-time physics and a widely deployed game controller ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a software engineering management role in games.
• 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in game development with C++ and game engines.
• Deep understanding of game performance, memory management, and multi-platform architecture.
• Experience operating features within a live-service game with production-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage a senior team of 6-8 engineers, coaching and hiring.
• Provide technical oversight for C++ gameplay systems and cross-platform performance.
• Own end-to-end SDLC with automated testing, feature flagging, rollout phases, and telemetry.
• Lead agile processes to plan, iterate, and deliver predictably; own team roadmap.
