Qualifications

• Current state licensure for funeral directing and embalming.
• Self-motivated and energetic.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Sensitivity and knowledge of different religious beliefs and cultural practices.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clear driving record.

Responsibilities

• Present clients with all service and merchandise options.
• Maintain open communication and accurate client files to improve location efficiency.
• Participate in community events to grow market share.
• Supervise team members during services and ensure professional representation.
• Execute transfers, embalming, dressing, cosmetizing, and preparation of decedents as required by licensing.
• Meet with families to plan personalized funeral services and ensure high-quality experiences.
• Ensure proper paperwork, permits and certificates are completed timely and legally.
• Conduct funeral services and lead post-service follow-ups.
