Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Lead Full Stack Software Engineer to own and evolve our next‑generation customer and partner engagement platform. Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience with production ownership of a customer-facing web application.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring engineers, including distributed or contractor teams.
• Strong frontend framework experience (React, Vue.js, Angular) and backend (Python, Node.js).
• Experience with REST APIs, authentication, state management, and responsive design.
• Experience with databases, caching, microservices, and application security.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture and roadmap for a customer- and partner-facing web platform.
• Review and approve codebases, manage environments, and release processes.
• Lead a small internal engineering team and coordinate with external contractors.
• Direct and review third-party integrations for architectural consistency.
• Diagnose production incidents across cloud infrastructure and auth systems.
• Design and implement data migration and integration scripts with reliability and audit logging.
• Use performance data and user feedback to optimize the platform.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and drive architectural decisions.
• Maintain documentation and reference implementations for customers and internal teams.
