Job summary

GlobalFoundries inc. in Santa Clara, CA seeks a Lead Full Stack Software Engineer to own the architecture and roadmap for a customer- and partner-facing web platform. You will guide a small internal team and an external contractor team delivering integrations, authentication, and cloud infrastructure.

Lead technical decisions, review code, and ensure production reliability while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure software across frontend and backend systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience with ownership of customer-facing web app
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers including contractor teams
• Proficient in a modern frontend framework (React/Vue/Angular) and a backend language (Python/Node.js)
• Experience with REST APIs, authentication, state management, responsive design

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture and roadmap for a customer- and partner-facing web platform
• Review and approve platform codebases, manage releases and environment promotions
• Direct a small internal team and coordinate external contractor work
• Diagnose and resolve production incidents across cloud infrastructure and identity systems
• Design data migration and integration scripts with reliability and audit logging
• Collaborate with stakeholders to scope integrations and drive architectural decisions
