Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Lead Full Stack Software Engineer to own and evolve our next-generation customer and partner engagement platform. In this hands-on role you will write code, shape architecture, and guide a small internal team along with an external contractor team delivering integrations.

You will oversee frontend and backend, manage deployments, perform code reviews, diagnose production incidents, and work with stakeholders to align requirements with a scalable design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, or related field.
• 5+ years of full-stack experience with production ownership of a customer-facing web app.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers, including distributed or contractor teams.
• Strong frontend (React/Vue/Angular) and backend (Python/Node.js) skills.
• Experience with REST APIs, authentication, state management, and responsive design.
• Experience with databases, caching, microservices, and application security.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and cloud deployment.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and roadmap for the customer-facing web platform.
• Review and approve codebases, manage releases and environments.
• Manage a small team of engineers including code reviews and mentorship.
• Coordinate with external contractor teams on integrations.
• Diagnose production incidents across cloud infra and auth systems.
• Design data migration and integration scripts with audit logging.
• Analyze platform using telemetry and implement UX improvements.
• Gather requirements and drive architectural decisions with stakeholders.
• Maintain documentation and reference implementations.
