Job summary

Two Six Technologies is seeking a Lead Full Stack Developer to join our team in Arlington, VA. You will act as a technical lead for full‑stack development, coordinating tasks from inception to deployment and guiding engineering staff through complex lab operations.

The role requires a TS clearance with SCI eligibility, 7+ years of software experience, and a preference for strong Python/JavaScript skills and Kubernetes, CI/CD in Linux environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; 7+ years in software engineering; extensive experience may substitute for a degree.
• Proven ability to lead planning and execution of technical tasks with prioritization and scheduling.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and JavaScript; strong Linux experience.
• Deep knowledge of SDLC, version control, containers (Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab).
• Must have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and be able to work 100% in person.
• Based in Arlington, VA with planned transition to Herndon, VA; candidate must commute to both.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical lead, bridging visionary goals and tactical implementation for critical national security research programs.
• Break down complex deliverables into actionable tasks and oversee full stack development from inception to deployment.
• Lead technical implementation teams 100% in‑office, focusing on hands‑on lab operations in Arlington with travel to Herndon.
• Ensure completion of program deliverables through technical judgment and leadership of engineering staff.
