Job summary

Two Six Technologies is seeking a Lead Full Stack Developer to guide reverse engineering tooling, system architecture, and scalable software. The role emphasizes hands-on full-stack work in Python and JavaScript, with in-office operations in Arlington, VA and periodic travel to Herndon, VA.

As a technical lead you will translate visionary goals into actionable tasks, oversee delivery from inception to deployment, and mentor engineers while maintaining TS clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proven ability to lead the planning and execution of technical tasks, including task prioritization and schedule management.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and JavaScript, with Linux-based environment experience.
• Deep understanding of version control (git), containerization and scaling (Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab).
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and willingness to work 100% in person in Arlington, VA and future Herndon, VA lab.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical lead, bridging vision and implementation for national security research programs.
• Break down complex deliverables into actionable tasks and oversee full-stack development from inception to deployment.
• Lead in-office development teams in Arlington, with occasional travel to Herndon for hands-on lab operations.
• Ensure successful program deliverables through technical judgment and leadership of engineering staff.
