Salary: $210K to $225K

We are seeking a hands-on Full Stack Developer to join a high-performing technical team supporting mission-critical applications. This role is ideal for a senior-level engineer who enjoys writing code, solving complex technical problems, and contributing to architecture and technical direction while also providing team-level leadership.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience across both front-end and back-end development, with a particular emphasis on Python, Flask, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, and AWS.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using modern software development practices.

Build scalable back-end services and APIs using Python and Flask.

Develop responsive, user-friendly front-end applications using TypeScript and React.

Work with PostgreSQL and other data systems to design efficient data models, queries, and integrations.

Leverage AWS services to develop, deploy, and support cloud-based applications.

Use Pandas and Python-based data processing tools to manipulate, analyze, and integrate data.

Contribute hands-on code throughout the development lifecycle rather than functioning solely in a management capacity.

Help establish technical direction, development standards, and best practices for the team.

Provide technical mentorship and guidance to other developers.

Collaborate with engineers, technical leads, and mission stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.

Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment.

Identify opportunities to improve application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.

Support the full software development lifecycle in an Agile environment.

Required Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with CI Poly required to start.

Strong professional experience in full-stack software development.

Hands-on experience with Python and Flask.

Strong front-end development experience with TypeScript and React.

Experience working with PostgreSQL and relational databases.

Experience with AWS and cloud-based application development.

Experience with Pandas or similar Python data-processing frameworks.

Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases, and modern development practices.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a technical team.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience serving as a technical lead, team lead, or senior technical contributor.

Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to other developers.

Experience designing and building applications from the ground up.

Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices.

Experience developing solutions within a cleared government or national security environment.

Familiarity with additional AWS services, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code.
