Humana seeks a highly experienced Lead Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and maintain modern, scalable web applications. You will provide technical leadership across the full stack, partnering with product, design, architecture, and engineering teams to deliver secure, high-performing systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years proven experience in a lead or senior full stack engineering role.
• Strong hands-on experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, C# / .NET, PostgreSQL.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and/or modern service-based architectures.
• Experience in Agile product delivery environments.
• Strong communication, collaboration and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and delivery of full stack apps with React, Next.js, TypeScript, C#, PostgreSQL.
• Architect scalable, secure solutions across front-end and back-end systems.
• Partner with product managers, UX designers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and development processes.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and day-to-day technical guidance.
• Drive technical decision-making for architecture, API design, system integration, and database modeling.
• Optimize application performance, accessibility, reliability, and developer experience.
• Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to support CI/CD, monitoring, testing, and deployment strategies.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, compliance, and operational standards.
• Contribute to roadmap planning, estimation, technical discovery, and delivery execution.
