Job summary

1872 Consulting is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in a hybrid role for a global law firm. You will be the technical lead for a full-stack team, guiding architecture and engineering practices while contributing production code on .NET, React and Azure.

You will partner with product, design and business teams to scope and deliver scalable features, review code for quality, security and performance, and coach junior and mid-level engineers. Collaboration with DevOps on CI/CD is essential.

Qualifications

5+ years of full-stack software development experience.
Proven leadership or mentoring experience including code reviews.
Strong architectural design and understanding of scalable apps.
Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices.
Agile delivery experience across product teams.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical direction for a full-stack team and guide architecture decisions.
Write production code while mentoring others.
Review code for quality, security and performance.
Collaborate with product, design and business stakeholders to scope features.
Improve database queries, front-end rendering and API performance.
Ensure security from authentication to data protection.
Partner with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines and Azure deployments.
