Job summary

New York Technology Partners seeks an experienced Lead/Manager-level Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and support scalable web applications for a leading financial services organization. You will own features end to end and collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

You will design user interfaces with React, develop backend services in Java, Node.js, and Python, and deploy cloud-based solutions on AWS.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Java and AWS are must-haves; exposure to React is a plus.
• Experience with Node.js and/or Python for backend development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway).
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices.
• Experience with Git-based version control workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable web applications across the full stack.
• Lead frontend development with React and responsive UI design.
• Build and maintain backend services using Java, Node.js, and Python.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize cloud-based solutions on AWS.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor team members and participate in code reviews and architecture discussions.
