Job summary

Jobtailor in New York City seeks a senior full-stack engineer to design and deliver enterprise-grade applications. You will own features end to end, drive architecture discussions, and mentor engineers across distributed teams.

You will work with ReactJS, TypeScript, JavaScript on frontend and Go/Java/Python/Node.js on backend, with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD to enable scalable, secure systems. Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential to balance engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in ReactJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript, including hooks and functional components.
• Strong backend development experience in Go, Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, distributed systems, REST, gRPC, Thrift, and Koa.

Responsibilities

• Define digital strategy and execution roadmaps with clients.
• Design and implement differentiated digital solutions delivering value.
• Lead architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-grade full-stack apps.
• Build scalable frontend experiences using ReactJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Develop backend APIs and microservices with Go/Java/Python/Node.js.
• Architect AWS cloud-native solutions with containers, CI/CD, monitoring.
• Own features end-to-end from design through production support.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, designers, business stakeholders, and distributed teams.
• Communicate technical decisions, risks, and trade-offs.
