Job summary

Ameriprise Financial is seeking an experienced Sr / Lead Full Stack Engineer to join the Asset Management – Investment Technology team in NYC. This role focuses on modernising core investment platforms with scalable cloud-based architecture and end-to-end delivery across UI, API, and data layers.

You will collaborate with global stakeholders across investment, operations, products and wider technology teams to shape requirements and deliver robust, secure solutions in AWS environments and CI/CD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field required.
• 10+ years of software engineering with at least 3 years in a lead role.
• Strong command of full stack development with JavaScript, Node.js or Java/.NET/Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Drive full stack development across cloud-native and hybrid architectures.
• Design scalable APIs with security, monitoring and logging.
• Develop UI components using React or Angular.
• Manage AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines (CloudFormation, Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS).
• Own production environment operations and governance across teams.
