Job summary

New York Technology Partners seeks an experienced Lead/Manager-level Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and support scalable web applications for a leading financial services organization. You will own features end to end and collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

You will design user interfaces with React, develop backend services in Java, Node.js, and Python, and deploy cloud-based solutions on AWS.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Java and AWS are must-haves; exposure to React is a plus.
• Experience with Node.js and/or Python for backend development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway).
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices.
• Experience with Git-based version control workflows.

We are looking for an experienced Lead/Manager-level Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and support scalable web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies. In this role, you'll work across the full development lifecycle—owning features end to end and collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions for a leading financial services organization.

Your Impact

• Design and develop responsive, user-facing applications using React
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Java, Node.js, and Python
• Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-based solutions on AWS
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Write clean, reusable, and testable code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across the stack
• Mentor team members and contribute to technical leadership within the team

Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Java and AWS are top must-haves; exposure to React is a plus
• Solid backend development experience with Node.js and/or Python
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway)
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices
• Experience with Git-based version control workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and a strong team collaborator
