Job summary

Telecon is seeking an experienced Fiber Construction Project Manager to own FTTH builds from planning to invoicing across Oregon markets. You will allocate work to crews and subcontractors, coach OSP Engineers, and keep projects on schedule and within budget while ensuring accurate billing for change orders.

Travel to job sites will be required. The role requires 5+ years in OSP telecom, 2+ years in project management with budgets, and strong Excel/Office skills, with experience in Sitetracker

Qualifications

• 5+ years of outside plant (OSP) telecommunications experience (fiber prints, underground drilling, aerial placement).
• 2+ years of project management experience with budgets.
• Ability to read and interpret utility plans and contracts.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills for budgets and trackers.
• Experience with project/client management software (Sitetracker, Salesforce, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Plan and distribute work to field crews and subcontractors across the market.
• Coach and oversee OSP Engineers and foster field training.
• Track budgets, WIP, AP/AR and verify invoices against budgets.
• Capture change orders and ensure timely billings for additional revenue.
• Manage work on existing fiber networks and FTTH builds.
• Maintain project timelines and coordinate with clients and municipalities.
• Ensure safety policies are followed on all projects.
• Perform other duties as needed.
