Job summary

Ridgeline is seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer to lead UI modernization on the Market Data team. You will drive the Instrument Master migration and shift from legacy front-end patterns to modern practices.

This role requires guiding mid- to senior engineers and defining a UI strategy aligned with product goals. You will collaborate with product and backend teams to translate needs into technical specifications, adopting AI-assisted development and raising coding standards across the codebase.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of front-end development with UI modernization leadership.
• Strong React, JavaScript and TypeScript expertise.
• Experience with UI testing frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Jest).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and modernize UI components; lead Instrument Master migration.
• Mentor developers; establish coding standards and best practices.
• Define UI strategy; align with product goals and broader teams.
• Collaborate with product; translate needs into precise specs.
• Lead initiatives to adopt modern UI practices and improve quality.
