Meadowbrook Inn in Blowing Rock, NC seeks a professional Lead Front Desk Associate to be the face of the hotel, handling reservations, check-ins/outs, and guest inquiries while supervising front desk duties and cash control.

This role requires flexibility across shifts including Night Audit, strong communication, and the ability to train staff and coordinate daily operations; weekend, night, and holiday work are required.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years hotel experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Answer phones, including taking reservations and directing calls as needed.
• Welcome guests upon arrival and serve as the primary point of contact between guests and the hotel.
• Check-in and register guests, collect contact info and dates, assign rooms, and issue keys.
• Check guests out and ensure accurate payment processing.
• Monitor payments, credits, and decline discrepancies.
• Supervise front desk staff, provide training, and assist with daily operations.
• Upsell guest rooms and promote hotel services.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments for smooth operations.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and promptly.
• Assist with coverage during callouts and staffing gaps.
