Chetola Resort in Blowing Rock, NC, seeks a personable Guest Services Attendant to join our Front Office team. This full-time role (30+ hours/week) requires weekend availability and a warm, proactive attitude in a guest-focused setting. You’ll manage check-in/out, answer inquiries, and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure top-tier experience.

Qualifications

• Seekers for full-time roles (30+ hours/week).
• Weekend availability is required; holiday availability preferred.
• Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic math and computer skills; experience with hotel property management systems is a plus.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with warmth and professionalism upon arrival and departure.
• Check-in and check-out using the property management system.
• Provide information about amenities, dining options, and local attractions.
• Answer calls, respond to inquiries, and handle reservations.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and escalate when needed.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness.
