Job summary

Fortune-Johnson is seeking a Framing Superintendent to oversee all framing field operations on our multifamily projects. You will work closely with the Project Superintendent to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of framing or structural construction experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with subcontractors, inspectors, and owners to maintain high quality standards on demanding job

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of framing or structural construction experience.
• Proactive, organized, and able to work with urgency.
• Ability to build strong relationships with framing subcontractors and inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all framing field operations with the Project Superintendent.
• Review framing plans, shop drawings, submittals, and specs for accuracy.
• Coordinate flow of framing activities: sequencing, scheduling, logistics, manpower.
• Identify long-lead materials and coordinate procurement and delivery.
• Manage framing inspections to meet standards.
• Direct framing subcontractors and labor teams; monitor productivity, quality, safety.
• Complete daily reports, QA/QC, punch lists, safety inspections, and reporting.
• Ensure framing materials and equipment are delivered and staged to support workflow.
• Monitor framing budgets and hold subcontractors accountable for scope.
• Ensure framing work progresses according to the project schedule.
• Maintain safe, organized framing work areas.
