Job summary

Skilled Trades Partners is seeking an experienced Framing Superintendent to oversee framing operations in the Framingham, MA area. You will lead framing crews, coordinate daily activities, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.

You will read blueprints, manage manpower, materials, and schedules, and enforce safety procedures on site. Hands-on framing work may be required to support the crew as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as Framing Superintendent, Framing Foreman, or Lead Framer.
• Strong framing knowledge and construction practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and manage framing crews effectively.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate framing crews on active construction sites.
• Oversee daily framing operations, including layout, rough framing, walls, floors, and roof systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and construction specifications.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and project schedules.
• Monitor workmanship, productivity, and project progress.
• Enforce jobsite safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades.
• Identify and resolve jobsite issues to keep projects on schedule.
• Perform hands-on framing work when needed to support the crew.
