Job summary

KLA is seeking a Lead FPGA Engineer for its Central Engineering team in Milpitas. You will drive FPGA design, verification and integration for high-performance imaging systems, collaborating with SW and system groups to deliver robust hardware solutions.

Applicants should have extensive RTL experience (SystemVerilog/Verilog/VHDL), familiarity with Xilinx/Altera tools, and strong documentation and test skills. The role requires independence and proactive prioritization, working onsite in Milpitas.

Qualifications

• PhD/MS/BS with related FPGA/EDA experience.
• Strong RTL design and verification skills required.
• Experience with high-speed digital design and PCB interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, test and integration of FPGA code for imaging systems.
• Collaborate with SW and System teams during subsystem integration.
• Produce technical documentation for manufacturing and service.
