Job summary

Aalyria is seeking a Lead RTL/FPGA Design Engineer to develop high-performance coherent modems for free space optical communications. This role involves end-to-end RTL development and collaboration with DSP developers to translate algorithms into RTL, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards.

The position is remote with occasional travel to our Mountain View office. Candidates should possess a relevant degree and substantial experience in RTL and DSP implementation.

Qualifications

• Active Security Clearance, or eligibility to obtain one.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in RTL design.
• Proficiency in logic design concepts and high-quality RTL coding.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end FPGA Modem Solution based on VHDL or System Verilog.
• Lead the RTL development for key DSP blocks.
• Collaborate to translate DSP specifications into RTL designs.
