Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Production Supervisor for a leading foundry in Cold Spring, MN. You will lead sand molding and pouring operations, drive safety, quality initiatives, and support continuous improvement across the production floor.

You will supervise teams, coach staff, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure production KPIs are met while maintaining a safe, efficient work environment. This role requires hands-on leadership in a manufacturing setting on day shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; bachelor’s preferred.
• 3–5 years supervisory experience in manufacturing, preferably foundry.
• Strong knowledge of lean, 5S, TPM and quality systems.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work 70% in production.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; safety-focused.

Responsabilités

• Lead molding, pouring, and foundry operations
• Identify and address safety concerns; promote safe environment
• Monitor production performance, quality metrics, and productivity goals
• Conduct performance evaluations and coach employees
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives (5S, TPM, quality, cost, delivery)
• Manage inventory, receive materials, and coordinate parts
• Support daily production meetings, audits, and maintenance activities
