Job summary

Chembio Diagnostic Systems seeks a Formulations Lab Supervisor to lead the lab team in daily formulation activities, balancing supervision with hands-on work on the lab floor to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

You will oversee data collection, maintain inventory, and support tech transfer from lab to manufacturing scale while coaching staff and enforcing procedures to uphold cGMP standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field.
• Experience in the production of rapid diagnostic tests or equivalent.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications; NetSuite is a plus.
• Management and Quality Systems coursework or training.
• Attention to detail and proficient record keeping.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily formulation and laboratory activities on the shop floor.
• Ensure GMP compliance, quality systems, and safety across the lab.
• Maintain accurate lab documentation and data integrity.
• Coordinate with Production and QA on batch records and deviations.
• Support validation of new lab equipment and procedures.
