Job summary

Fathom Mfg in Denver, CO seeks a Forming / Press Brake Supervisor to lead CNC press brake and forming operations. You will drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery while guiding a team of operators and coordinating with planning and engineering to meet production goals.

The role requires 5+ years in precision sheet metal forming, strong tool knowledge (Amada/Trumpf/Bystronic), and leadership experience. A technical background and OSHA awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical degree preferred).
• 5+ years in precision sheet metal forming/press brake operations.
• 2+ years in leadership or supervisory roles in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of press brake setup, tooling and forming techniques.
• Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with CNC programming and machine controls.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily press brake and forming operations across shifts.
• Assign work, monitor workflow, and adjust priorities to meet production schedules.
• Ensure adherence to targets, throughput goals, and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with planning, engineering and other departments to resolve capacity issues.
• Lead, coach and develop operators; provide training on equipment and safety.
• Oversee CNC press brake setup, tooling selection, and programming for performance.
• Review blueprints and tolerances; troubleshoot forming issues.
• Maintain quality standards, partner with QA to reduce scrap and rework.
• Enforce safety policies, OSHA compliance, and continuous improvement.
