In this role, you will optimize processes, uphold safety standards, and drive continuous improvement. Collaboration with engineering and quality teams will be key to implementing effective corrective actions and maintaining production excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to program, set up and run CNC press brake equipment.
• Strong interpretation of engineering drawings, GD&T and specs.
• Demonstrated leadership or mentorship in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers and angle gauges for inspection.
• Ability to drive process improvements and prevent errors.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily press brake operations and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Program, set up and operate CNC press brake machinery from blueprints.
• Develop and document setup procedures and machine programs to improve efficiency.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to meet customer specs.
• Coordinate tooling, materials and scheduling to optimize workflows.
• Champion 5S and safety initiatives in the production area.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve process variations.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations for the press brake department, providing technical guidance and coaching to team members to ensure consistent quality and throughput.
• Program, set up, and operate CNC press brake machinery, translating complex engineering blueprints into high-quality finished components.
• Develop and document standardized setup procedures and machine programs to increase operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Perform rigorous first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools to maintain strict adherence to customer specifications.
• Coordinate production workflows by managing tooling requirements, material availability, and scheduling priorities.
• Champion safety initiatives and 5S workplace organization standards to maintain a secure and efficient production environment.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot process variations and implement effective corrective actions.

Qualifications
